Biography
Guillaume GRÉGOIRE holds a PhD in law and is a researcher at the Department of Economic Law and Legal Theory of the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Criminology of the University of Liège. Using both a comparative method (Belgian, French, German and European legal systems) and a contextual approach (through the genealogy of legal concepts), his research spans public economic law, legal history and legal theory and focuses on the process of economic constitutionalisation.
He received a research fellowship from the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (2017-2021) and was invited as a visiting researcher at the Centre de droit européen (CDE) of the University Paris-Panthéon-Assas (September-December 2018) and at the Max-Planck-Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb in Munich (January-July 2019).
He is the author of L'économie de Karlsruhe. L'intégration européenne à l'épreuve du juge constitutionnel allemand (CRISP, 2021) and the co-editor of The Idea of Economic Constitution in Europe. Genealogy and Overview (Brill, 2022).
